DIY Power Station attempt from salvaged cells
I wanted a power source which I can use when power goes out or when I go to camping. This was in the back of my head for a long time until a friend said he found a bunch of discarded laptop batteries at the IT department of the company he works at, and he grabbed all of them for me because he knows I like upcycling.
After taking all of the batteries apart, I saw that each had 2 pouch cells. Then I started the process of charging and measuring the capacity with a DL24. I had 46 cells in total. I numbered every cell and wrote their capacity on them. 
The pack I am going to make will be 3 series and 15 in paralel, 3s15p. I grouped the cells while trying to keep every paralel packs capacity close. Cells usually had close to 2 ah capacity. I used a copper braid , after lots of solder and flux it had started to take shape.
Then I encased the pack with a little foam then wrapped it with duct tape.
Then wrapped that again with cardboard.
